Latest Urban Regeneration Developments in our Community

At Salisbury North there are many urban regeneration developments still occurring which are improving community amenity through the final stages of this project.

One of the most distinct developments currently changing the face of Salisbury North is the completion the International Avenue Park link Precinct adjacent to the Whites Road Shopping Centre. The Park Link is connecting streets as a landscaped pedestrian thoroughfare is built around sustainability principles. This includes drought tolerant plant selection, and the use of permeable paving and recycled logs as play equipment.

To complement the Park Link and enhance the precinct adjacent is a proposed medium density housing development site. This site is currently being offered to the market whilst on the other side of the Park Link is the site of the proposed Foodland Shopping Centre Redevelopment. Once all adjacent developments are complete, this precinct will showcase integrated urban design elements.

Within this locality there are many new dwellings in various stages of completion whilst on the land availability front there are limited numbers of allotments still available through Century 21 of Salisbury South at value for money prices. However the last allotments are selling fast.

Also taking shape in another part of Salisbury North, is a new medium density housing development overlooking Hyde Street Reserve. The design concepts of this development add quality to community living within this vicinity.

Or at the Bagster Road Community Centre there are many facilities available such as the local crèche and Café 17 on Bagster which is a café managed by the members of the Salisbury North community. Coffees and light lunches are available from this engaging and busy community setting.

There are also many other facilities and services for residents of the area.

Salisbury North is still growing and developing through urban renewal principles to improve the quality of life for the whole community.
